He completed his schooling at Sushil Himmat Singka Vidyalaya, Wardha, and pursued higher education with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Master’s degree in Economics, and a Ph.D., showcasing his strong academic foundation and intellectual leadership.

Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar began his public journey with active participation in social and student movements, holding several important positions in youth and educational organizations. He was elected as a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the Wardha Assembly Constituency for the first time in 2014 and continued to earn the trust and support of the people with consecutive victories in 2019 and 2024.

As the Minister of State, Government of Maharashtra, Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar currently holds responsibilities for several important departments, including Home, Housing, School Education, Co-operation, and Mining. In the Home Department, his focus remains on strengthening law and order, improving public safety, modernizing policing systems, and enhancing citizen-centric governance. Various initiatives are being undertaken to improve emergency response systems, cyber security awareness, women’s safety, and public confidence in law enforcement agencies.
Through the Housing Department, he is committed to ensuring affordable, sustainable, and quality housing solutions for citizens across Maharashtra.
